Nothing beats the glow that shines from within yourself when you see how beautiful you truly are. The glow that leaves you smiling from ear to ear and lights up your eyes. I became a make-up artist because of that glow and my addiction to seeing it. There’s something special in showing a woman her true beauty, the way she appears to me, and the best way I know how to do that is with my make-up brushes.
So many times I’ve been asked about how long I have been doing make-up, and truth be told, I can’t remember ever “not doing” make-up. When mom cleaned out her drawers, all those broken crumbs of eye shadow and melted lipsticks came straight to my room. I was a nightmare to the sales consultants at the cosmetic testing stations in the stores, smudging color after color on my arm until I looked like a rainbow- but to me it was the most beautiful rainbow ever.
During my last few years in school I signed on with a reputable and well established modeling agency and just fell deeper into that great big beauty addiction, so when it was time to choose a career after school I knew I belonged in the industry and decided to become a make-up artist. I completed a professional make-up artistry course through Face to Face Make up Academy in 2007 and never stopped since.
After 6 years of working on weddings and photo shoots over weekends and off days, I decided to quit the day job and become a full time Make-up Artist at the end of 2013 and never looked back. What started out as a passion for the products and the creative freedom that comes with it, quickly evolved into a passion for the affect it had on the lady sitting at the other end of my brush and knowing that I can make her feel as amazing as she look.
Every bride or client is special and unique in her own way, and it has always been my mission to make her feel like she is the most important person in the world with exceptional, friendly and professional service. From that first phone call, to trial right through to your special day, you can expect only the best work and service.
You are an artwork in the making, all the lines are already there- let me color it in and show you, your most beautiful self!
